Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are 2 Giraldillo statues in Seville. One, the original, which was made in 1568, stands on top of the Giralda tower, It is 3.47 meters high and the body of the statue weighs 1.2 tons. However, it is barely visible with the naked eye from the ground due to the height of the tower. However there is a bronze replica which stands in Plaza de Triunfo, outside the Prince's Gate entrance to the cathedral. The replica stood on top of the Giralda from 1999 to 2005 while the original was being restored.

Magnificent Giralda. Fascinating. We would stay for hours contemplating it. I couldn't go up there given my age. A tip: go there at sunset when the stone takes on golden hues. It's the magical hour when flocks of parakeets arrive, when the Cathedral lights up, when the bells ring out loud. Truly exceptional moments.

There are two giralda statues. The original bronze statue sits at the top of the giralda. It is quite difficult to see from the ground. The other is at the entrance to the Cathedral.

Located in one of the entrances of Seville Cathedral is Giraldillo , a stunning piece of art that's most definitely well worth seeking out .
The original statue of Giraldillo rests atop Giralda Tower ,the work of sculptor Juan Batista Vazquez ,unveiled in 1568 ,this replica replaced the original Giraldillo while it was being restored ,its most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate in Seville Cathedral .

This female figure represents the Christian victory against the Arabs several centuries ago. It is located in the Cathedral of Seville.
