Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Plaza del Cabildo is a little hard to find, but it's there and eventually you will find your way to it. Just use a good map. It is an out of the way sort of place. It is close to the Seville Cathedral. If you are in a street called Avenida de la ConstituciĂłn and facing the Cathedral, then the Plaza del Cabildo should be behind you, but you need to go through those buildings behind you first, through a passageway. You can also get there through a couple of other streets, one of which is called Calle Almirantazgo and the other is called Calle Arfe. The Plaza is not huge but is large enough for a Flea Market which is held there on Sundays and where you can buy lots of great and not so great bargains, from coins and stamps to silver and gold and valuable antiques, if you have to! The architecture of the place is just beautiful. It is semi-circular, with lovely marble columns, wonderful frescoes and there are several arcades too. There is also a water fountain and what is left of an old city stone wall. Regarding cafes, restaurants and the like, there are plenty in the vicinity. This is a hidden gem indeed.

Beautiful square with a semi circular colonnade with shops at the bottom and lovely painted decorations around the top and the arches. On one side is part of the 12th century city wall. Just happened upon it on our way back to our hotel one evening - it's pretty but not worth going out of your way to see.

Happened upon this little plaza this morning (Sunday) and found loads of collectors stalls selling coins, money, badges etc. Additionally it seems to be a traders place for young kids to come and trade football & Pokémon cards and the like with each other. Plenty of activity that made us curious as to what was happening and drew us in. Great atmosphere. Worth having a wander through to see what’s on offer in this hidden little courtyard. Have already recommended to friends planning their trip

I noticed what looked not far off a tunnel opposite the west side of the cathedral in Avenida de la Constitucion and and came upon this lovely square. There are remnants of the old city walls. Even some of the private houses and office entrances have Moorish architecture.

Plaza de Cabildo is a tiny square set in very center Seville. Little bit difficult to find, as there're only to small passageways leading to it. Therefore, I'd rather call it a patio, as it's a small cute courtyard with a fountain with crescent like arched house around it.
Nice 5 min photo op.

A delicious, magical square next of the Cathedral, hidden from the big crowd.
One of the hundreds of jewels that adorn Seville throughout the city. A true hidden gem, only visible to the very observent person.

A plaza with a lovely fountain, remains of the old citywall, semicircular architecture with decorated ceilings, worth photographing. A little treasure!
Best visited when the sun shines on the building or at night. Free, public place.

We went to visit the collectors market, amazing range of crafts in lovely surroundings. The only disappointment was not being able to bring back some of the larger items due to their fragility. Managed to bring a few smaller items home.

I would have never found this place if it hadn't been part of a walking tour. Beautiful hidden patio where one can see the old city's walls.
On Sunday mornings there is a collectors market (for coins and stamps mostly).

This is a cute square. We imagine that when there is a market set up here it is very busy, but without an event, there is nothing to do there. The fountain was turned off and the plants were not trimmed, so that blemished the beauty a bit. It was a bit hard to get to as Google and Apple Maps tell you to use routs that don’t yield an entrance. Go to Ave. de la Constitucion and in front of the Cathedral (across the street from Puerta de la Asunción) there is a passage that gets you to this square. Enjoy.

The Cabildo square is one of those preserved spots of old Seville. Beautiful to take pictures. It is not really a square, but a patio. Get from one door and get out through another after you visit it. It is the right place to go if you are into stamps or collectible coins. On Saturdays, they have a handcraft fair in there.
