Unusual to find such a palacio just off the main shopping street but worth a visit. Take the guided tour which also takes you to the upper floor and explains a little of the history of the family.

A facinating urban palace/mansion full of Roman and Muslim mosaics collected from the Seville region. One can visit the ground floor only, but there is plenty to see and admire - including the layout of the building, with patios/gardens in many places.

The cost for touring Lebrija Palace was 5 euro for the first level and an additional 3 euro (with a guide) for the second floor. I chose both levels (8 euro) and enjoyed the second level more. I had an English speaking guide at 1 pm who explained the history of the palace along with many of the artifacts. I... More

The Condesa made a Museum of her mansion devoting the ground level to her collection of antiquities including some beautiful mosaics. The upstairs guided visit shows her private apartment along with eclectic collections and family memorabilia.

The Condesa was a collector of Roman floors and small artifacts. Then there are tiles including the entire wall of the grand staircase that came from a closed nunnery. Then there is the oriental room and bric-a-brac of fine porcelain. There is so much. People who enjoy decorative arts should see this and take the second floor guided tour. Lunch... More

We paid E5 each and had not realized this only allowed us access to the lower level, we could pay extra they told us to include upstairs but this was not said until afterwards, the downstairs level you can see in around 15 minutes, the upstairs would have been much more interesting. They only do tours for the upstairs. Also,... More

Beautiful mosaics, free on Monday evenings 6.00 - 6.30. The tour of the upper floor was bilingual, the guide was very knowledgeable but the tour was delivered in very rapid, heavily accented english and I found it difficult to understand.

What struck us most about this house was the generosity with which all the artefacts were so close within view for the public to appreciate. To have the experience of being so close to original Roman mosaic, to view urns, pictures, coins, and so much more right there in front of us, made this an unusual, if not unique, experience.... A place that encapsulates the passion the Condesa had for collecting old and strange artefacts from polynesia to ancient Rome. It is easy to imagine living here especially upstairs but she clearly enthused over delightful old artefacts and even whole mosaics and tile displays. I think the tour guide said she actually adapted the house to e.g. fit in a... More
