Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The architecture, its interiors, gardens, ponds inspire a contemplation of majestic beauty. A day did not seem enough to explore the pleasure-filled aspects of this regal fortress.
Tip: Book tickets in advance online, and make time to attend the timed visits to the private rooms.
A feast to the senses, this historic landmark is a place that invites a return trip, preferably with a loved one (with a curated picnic basket in tow)

After an escorted tour we remained inside the Alcazar taking pictures and enjoying the architecture. After we went outside and sat on a bench in the gardens. The views are amazing and the smell of the azahar flowers will make you fall in love with the place.

A unique and exceptional place in the world. Both the palaces and the gardens. Recommended to visit it calmly. minimum about 4 or 5 hours. The gardens are perfect for finding your soul, only spoiled by the noise of the gardeners' infernal blowers. How is it possible for perfection and beauty to be broken by noise? Only an unfeeling, ordinary and incompetent management can allow to spoil the beauty

Of course, I can sense a completely different freshness in an early spring month, but the garden is constantly watered and the plants thrive in oven-warm Seville. The planting is of palm, cypress, myrtle, mulberries, magnolia, orange and lemon trees. As we overheard the biggest late-medieval garden in Europe.

Jardines de los Reales Alcazares are stunning. We visited the palace and then strolled around the gardens. There are ponds with fish, ponds with fountains, seats to rest for a while and everything else you can imagine. The gardens provided fruit and vegetables for the occupants in the older days, as all gardens did. Now these beautifully landscaped masterpieces are there for the enjoyment of visitors! There are beautiful trees, plants and all sorts of lowers to see. And we are lucky to be able to see them They are absolutely worth a visit.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful and extensive so allow plenty of time to explore them after visiting the Real Alcazar itself. It is planted in several different garden areas and also includes underground baths. Be sure to take a walk along the covered walkway where you will get lovely views over the gardens. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you will recognise parts of the garden which we used as locations. Lots of shady areas but I imagine it would be very hot in the peak summer months - it was hot when we visited in September. There is a small café in the gardens which sells drinks and snacks and has tables under some trees as well as toilets. Definitely worth spending some time exploring but you have to have tickets to the Real Alcazar to visit.

The garden is attached to the Real Alcázar de Sevilla, and one first visits the Alcázar and then the gardens. They are very pleasant, but I did think that the garden at the Alcázar in Cordoba was superior. The Alcázar is a 'must see' when in Seville and include the garden in your visit.

You could spend an hour or several hours here, just wandering through the different areas. You can even try to not get lost in a maze. The map and signage could use some work. It would have been nice to have a route outlined for you. Otherwise, you could wander and miss areas,

The gardens of Real Alcazar are huge and very diverse - there is a maze, flower garden, fountains, formal garden, English garden, etc. On a nice day the place is very nice. Tickets for Alcazar must be obtained in order to enter. There are also many ducks, swans and peacocks

I suggest visiting the Royal gardens at the end, after you toured the Royal rooms and palace itself.
The gardens are spread all around the palaces, there're several types of them and you require around an hour to see them. There's a small kiosk to buy some drinks as well restrooms.
