Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The reason to go here is that you can get some really good views of The Alhambra, and the Citadel del Albaicin. It is somewhat of a hike to get to the top and it's a popular place, so it was somewhat crowded. We didn't spend a lot of time here but glad we stopped to snap some photos of some of the points of interest in the area.

Mirador de San Cristobal is quite high up on the hill. Depending on your level of fitness you might struggle, unless you are very fit, or catch a bus or get a ride somehow. We took a leisurely walk so it wasn't that bad, and enjoyed the road. The views from the top are really great if you are not looking for anything specific. If you want something more specific, like the Alhambra, then you might be better off elsewhere, like Mirador San Nicolas which is about ten or so minutes walk away.

Not really worth it, would definitely recommend Mirador San Miguel do Alto for a breathtaking panorama of the entire region or power view points for closer view over Alhambra. This one looks great from other viewpoints though as it has a picturesque church on top of the hill. The are is very pleasant to walk around anyway.

Super views of surroundings - accessible via taxi or mini-bus (off-on tours). Some nice restaurants in the area as well. We also had the chance to watch some "street flamenco" and listen to some good local music.

Well worth visiting before you go to the Alhambra. Prepare yourself for a climb in thinner mountain air and there can be crowds ther most of the time.

Ben here in the late afternoon and early morning. Different views depending on the lighting. Not many people first thing in the morning makes it a better time to visit.

This is a beautiful spot to look out over the city of Granada. Make sure to take the time to visit in the morning and at sunset. Highly recommended.

There are several miradors scattered throughout Granada, and while they don't haave the buzz of the the San Nicolas Mirador, they offer aan opportunity to quietly admire the views of Granada. One such is San Cristobal. The walk here will take you through some intersting streets in the Albayzin Alto. Stop for a beer on the way down.

Mirador de San Cristobal offers similar views to that of the more famous Mirador de San Nicolas and is about a 10 minute walk away. As it is higher up it offers a better view of the city, but you'll probably get better views of the Alhambra complex from Mirador de San Nicolas as it's right opposite to it, Mirador de San Cristobal being a bit to the side. The viewing area is smaller, but since it is significantly less crowded you won't have any trouble getting a good pic. Best views are probably right before sunset. Worth the short detour in my opinion.

Bonsoir
Y-a-t-il des heures précises d'ouverture comme pour le mirador St-Nicolas?
Merci d'avance pour votre réponse.

We are going next fall...
The first day we plan on going to San Nicolas for sunset views of Alhambra followed by dinner and show at Jardine de Zoraya
Think we will take the Tourist Train that allows On and off and go to Alhambra from Catedral stop
After Alhambra, do the Paseo Trieste
Then hop off at near San Nicolas (Placeta de Abad?)
Walk to Plaza Larga
Then walk to Mirador San Cristobal
Then walk to Plaza de San Miguel Bajo to get back on the bus for Catedral, etc
1. Is this a reasonable plan, especially for Second day - Full Day
2. Is the walk mentioned within Albaicin (San Nicolas - Plaza Larga - San Cristobal - Plaza San Miguel) "tough" for seniors like CLIMBING, etc though with several stops for "look around"
On Google maps it does NOT look too hard, But those maps do not show ELEVATIONS
Watching Albaicin videos on YouTube is "SCARY"
But, IMO, Granada IS Alhambra and Albaicin?????
All advice is welcome
Thanks

Allow plenty of time at Alhambra - I think 4 hours would be a minimum. But Albaicin is very hilly and like a rabbit warren (albeit a very interesting place for walkers).
I think the view from San Nicholas back to Alhambra at night and day would be good. The view from San Cristobal is more a city view. You will need a good map (preferably digital on your phone) to help you stay focused on your route but there are indeed a lot of ups and downs between the points you have chosen.
I am an average fit 65yo and it should not cause any issues but after the morning in Alhambra this will be a BIG day!!
Have fun - it is a fabulous place
