Having been to Torremolinos a few times, I have yet to venture inside this church. So I decided that this time, I would enter - except it is undergoing some fairly major renovation work as you will see from the two photos I have uploaded. Oh well, maybe next year ... ... assuming it is finished :-)

Make your way to this lovely old church via the San Miguel steps where there are many great shops . The church is typically Spanish and visitors are made very welcome . You can also access the church and town centre by elevator(1euro).well worth a visit.

Historically quaint Catholic Church amidst modern buildings that is a calm oasis for spiritual needs. The only thing I felt uncomfortable with, people sat on the steps and were begging. Perhaps the clergy were unaware of this. I have never reviewed a church before ever. This is a beautiful building.

Church of San Miguel is situated in a pleasant small square next to the Pimentel Tower. It was constructed in the 18th century and is currently (Dec'16) undergoing major reconstruction to such an extent that it is not recognisable as a church and can be missed when searching it out.

A quiet oasis to escape the hot Spanish sun. Sit and contemplate and view the statues and decoration as examples of Spanish Catholicism.

We were lucky to be on holiday when it was the San Miguel fiesta wich lasts for a week at the end of September. All the locals are out , lots of the women wear traditional dress and there is lots of live bands and stands for food. The part we found amazing was the church of San Miguel although... More

This church is off the main thoroughfare but is worth a visit! Can be closed except at mass times weekdays 18.30 hours (Monday to Thursday) It has the Spanish style of art. If no other interest brings you to this church it is peaceful and a prayer would not do any harm!

Very simple Church. Filled for week end masses. However like in most catholic churches, the preaching is totally disconnected fron true life.
