Best part of Torremolinos- don't miss it

A beautiful, tranquil place to wander around and admire the wonderful landscaped gardens. Feels like being in South East Asia. Don't miss it - only €1 entrance.

About a twenty minute walk from the town centre, this is an Oasis. €1 entrance fee allows you around two hours to stroll around the gardens, waterfalls and fountains and out buildings, also Owls, Eagles and other birds are on show. Its just peaceful, and very pleasant. Be aware of the opening times, it closes 2pm to 4pm and again... More

Absolutely worth visiting! Easy to go by taxi from Torremolinos center for about 6€. As we got back we went to Montemar Parque de Batterias, also worth visiting!

Walked there in about 30 minutes on a lovely Sunday afternoon-be wary of the website's opening hours which say 18.00-20.00 when in fact it opens 16.00-19.00 in the afternoon-and spent the best 1 Euro admission all holiday.Although only a handful of visitors were there at opening time,as we left at 6pm it had got much busier, mostly young courting couples. We really... Took a taxi out from Torremolinos for 7.5 euros. Cost 2 euros in total for us to get in (children are free). Pretty gardens, we liked the tortoise and the maze (probably for all the wrong reasons, my children had a small water fight..!!!!) lots of owls, palm trees and water features...and working models of mills....the walk back into Town... What an absolute pleasure to see these gardens. Not something I would normally go and see but my mother in law loves trees and plants and I'm so glad I went. The care and work that must go into keeping this place immaculate, eye catching and a perfectly presented must be enormous. 1 euro entrance, worth every cent

The picturesque house contains artefacts and photographs of flour grinding mills, and renovation of the house. The descriptions are only in Spanish but you can get a good idea of the process. There are also working models of many mills and pressing the buttons to make them work will amuse the children. (Well, it amused me too!!) The gardens are... More

a very interesting place to visit, plants, gardens, animals, birds, and the historical and statues. We walked to the gardens, from the centre of Toremollinos, a good thirty minute walk, the last part along the side of the road, no footpath, but OK if you are careful.
