Took a bit of time to find but well worth it .To escape the bustle of torremolinos and the coast and land here was heaven. The old mill and the way the water is diverted is amazing ,there is a small museum which is with a look and the Japanese gardens are stunning . One place not to miss

The gardens were beautiful. A mixture of trees, flowers, fountains and statues. We went on a really sunny day which made the views even nicer. It was very vibrant and colourful and I loved the water arrangements. There are lots of birds dotted around it cages which I didn't like. They seemed very distressed and they didn't have much room... This is a real treasure with lovely sculptures, fountains and superb collection of unusual trees. Great viewpoints over the gardens and aviaries and a pretty Japanese garden

Found this on our last visit to Spain in March. A beautiful peaceful garden a short walk from town. Interesting information on its history, recommend it to for its quite location and rest from the heat. Will definitely visiting again to catch the bird show.

For the sake of a couple of euros, it is a beautiful place to visit. There is a lot to see including some birds and other animals. The Asian garden was closed, which frustrated me personally, but we will catch up in September. It is only a couple of minutes from the water and crocodile park. Go see it.

As you make your way through the entrance you will see the delightful molino house to your left. At just one euro per adult, this has to be the best attraction in the area to visit. The gardens and fountains are truly amazing with lots of interesting pathways and areas of tranquillity. if you're taking a packed lunch you won't... More

It's hard to believe that a garden like this can feel so secluded and yet be just outside town and right beside the motorway. It's even harder to believe that, as at March 2017, the admission charge was just one euro per person (yes - one euro - honestly!). For that, you get the chance to explore a wonderful garden,... We stayed in Malaga for a few days and got the train to Torremolinos for a day. The gardens are about a 25 min walk from the train station out of town and then down a lane. You can't really see them from the road, but when you get in there they are absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and tranquil with... More

We found reference to this botanical garden in a local free paper -and just as well, because it doesn't advertise itself. It's a wonderful park with fountains, many tree varieties, the museum based on the original water-driven mill, and numerous bird exhibits. A delightful, restful oasis, and the entry charge is only €1, free for pensioners and children . But... More
