Excellent area between Torremolinos and Benalmadena. More laid back than either with quieter beach and nice old part with plenty of good cafes and restaurants. Good connections on the main bus routes although it's a bit of a walk to the train.

Nearly 4 kilometers car-free walk. Lot's of possibilities to rest, have a tapa or drink. At the end, you can walk a bit further to Benalmadena and take a bus back to Torremolinos if the walk is too long.

The hotel recommend we visit Carihuela district, where you can see the original part of Torremolinos. There are narrow streets and there was a local fishing district. In the streets and in the heat of summer pleasant shade. In congestive stores are getting interesting souvenirs, but also luxury products. Make sure you do not miss CARIHUELA.

Lovely stretch between the more commercialised cenres of torre an benalmadena. Good inexpensive bars and eating places are spread along the sea front and the maze of small typically spanish streets behind.

Stayed in La Carihuela for a week in late September. Went to the beach everyday, was very lucky with weather. Sun beds for hire at only €5 a day. Beautiful promenade for walking and people watching, plenty of bars and restaurants. Highly recommend this resort

Carihuela. Is a lovely area in Torremelnos on The Costa Del Sol. But be warned. There is absolutely nothing to do out here in November. Most of the bars , pubs and clubs are closed already for the Christmas Season. I'm currently on holiday by myself and have been extremely bored this time round. I was nearly on the next... More

Just along the promenade and around the corner from Torremolinos you will find this Gem of a place and we found it by mistake. Lovely beach plenty of restaurants and shop all reasonably priced. Locals very friendly.

Last time I was here I stayed in torremollenos and walked past here on my way to Benalmedina. There wasn't much here except on the sea front but now it's a bustling little resort all of its own. Will definitely return
