Great for shops and bars/cafes, the fish was great with a wide choice of eateries offering tapas and rationed. You can eat at a different place every day for weeks.

The resort itself is gorgeous. It has everything you need or want all in the one place. Loads of restaurants, few British style bars and loads of shops. You are halfway between Banalmedina and Torremolinas.

We stayed at MS Amaragua, I would not recommend this hotel and although we saw many hotels and apartments in the wonderful area of La Carihuela I am sorry that I cannot help you further on this.

Very near. Leave the Timor Sol by the rear exit which leads directly onto the promenade. Turning left will bring you to Carihuela just a short distance away. If you turn right on exiting the rear of the hotel you're only a... More
