Lovely urban park

Lovely and surprisingly deserted urban park only 10-15 minutes from the beach in Torremolinos. Great for visitors of all ages.

Visited here on a not so sunny day. Not easy to find as not well signed posted. There is parking. Great views over town and out to sea. If you have kids plenty of space to run about and a play area plus a nice boating lake. If no kids a good place to have a walk about and take... More

We like visiting this park with our children as the playground is well kept and clean. The rowing boats are great fun and cheap to hire. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is we took a picnic and sat on the grass but we were told this was not allowed and asked us to move! They should have... More

love this place - its a bit of an uphill walk from carihuella though there is a train station - montemar alto - nearby. adult exercise equiptment dotted around the well tended scenic gardens. there is a man made boating lake with fountains where you can hire a rowing boat - for 1 euro !! amazing.! there is a tower... Armed with an iPhone and the maps app we took the up hill walk from the beach area to the park! If you take the same sort of route as us, once you've turned uphill after Harley Davidson shop on the main road the park is signposted from this point. Be aware there is only one way into the park... I came upon this park totally by chance. It is one of the nicest parks. The first time I visited it had only opened that year. The gardens are very well kept. the kids play areas are really good and entertaining. The boating lake is the cleanest I have ever seen, cleaner than some swimming pools. It costs 1 euro,... More

We visited this park and was impressed with the surroundings. We had a pleasant walk among the various trees from around the world. There are a couple of great view points looking down to the beach, and some nostalgic military equipment to look at. Nice clean ponds and water features gave a nice ambiance Free parking, free to get in... More

Not many tourists will think about going to a park but I definitely recommend it just for the boat ride in the laguna....only 1 euro! This costs at least £8 in London Hyde Park! They have a good family playground too!
