Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were pretty disappointed with Marbella in general, we were expecting it to be all glitz & glamour but didn't really find it.
We had a nice walk around the marina, along the promenade and some streets had a few busy restaurants but didn't see what all the hype was about, nothing compared to recent visits to Nice, Monaco, Cannes and Antibes.

A bit underwhelmed, it wasn't as big or glamorous as I imagined, no big yacht, no character or anything special. Apparently all the bigger yachts are at Puerto Banus which you can take a boat trip to if you have the time.

Its in need of a total refurnish which has been promised for over 10years is very out dated not very large no nice big yachts you can wander along the outer quay and see the boats and in the port you will find pubs bars restaurant, disco not a lot more to say, if your at a loose end then visit and watch the boats come and go, Marbella also has a fishing port further along the coast in the direction of Malaga you can see the fishing boats coming and going you can find a few good street restaurants offering good typical Spanish food at very good prices they are situated in the side streets on the Marbella side of the port by the hospital impossible to park in this area you can walk to it via the Marbella promanard

Definitely not Puerto Banos or anything like the port in The main area of Marbella. It’s one you could take a pass.

This is Marbella´s port!! but it´s not even as cool as the port in fuengirola. Where´s the big ships? where´s the nice restaurants? In need for some attention I think.
