Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful promenade, very looked after with shops and cafes, people jogging, walking, practicing sports, walking their dogs. Its very emblematic in Marbella. to be enjoyed at all times of the day and night with especial attention to the sun set and sun rise!! Dont miss out.

This excellent promenade stretches from San pedro all the way out to Puerto Banus and has a lot going for it.
First off, there’s loads of free parking which is unusual in Spain. It is right next to the walkway itself so nice and easy and you can tailor the length of your walk to how much exercise you want.
Of course, it is flat and very well maintained. They have excellent facilities along the way including toilets, bars, restaurants and so on.
As well as the beauty of the beach and the sea you see some wonderful houses and there’s always lots of activity from the locals and tourists alike.

The obvious take over of buildings has destroyed its beaches and its green. Rush built with poor sewage and it smells. So if you dont mind dinning with the smell. What was once, isnt any more by a long shot. Too many buildings, too many people.

Perfect place to view the sea and people watch. the boardwalk is lined with restaurants and shops. Stop in for a quick drink or gelato and relax. After dark there is more live music and activity, but always busy.

The Paseo Maritima is an endless carfree boulevard stretching along the Marbella coastline all the way toward Puerto Banus. Lined beautifully with a double row of palm trees. Perfect for a long stroll seeing restaurants, beach clubs, shops, the beach and sea, and above all for people watching.

Ten of us thoroughly enjoyed the 5 mile walk from Puerto Banus Marina to Marbella Old town.
The path is level, mostly clean and well maintained with sea views interspersed with beach restaurants and bars.
The views at sunrise and sunset can be stunning.

A great paseo maritimo. Elegant walkways made of marble, plenty of places to sit and catch the sun and restaurants for tapas and drinks. We walked approx 7 kilometres a day here and there were families, joggers, cyclists and walkers all enjoying the views of the sea and the lovely gardens alongside.

It is very long, many km, so you could walk as long as you need seeing the sea from one side and hotels/bars/restaurants from another. We've booked apartments in front of Buerto Banus so views from our windows were really nice. We could observe ships coming daily. Seafront looks nicely. If you go toward Playa de la Fontanilla and further you can reach 'green street', where marble ends. There are lots palms around, gardens on the hills and good looking road. In the evening, there are lots people around Buerto Banus - joggers, bikers, wakers- and because of limited spase it could be a bit annoyinly.
Prices look a bit high. There also various parties take place so you can observe or even participate.

The Paseo captures everything that makes Marbella the superb spot that it is. A well designed and maintained walking thoroughfare with shops, restaurants and bars on one side and the beautiful beaches of Marbella on the other. There are some restaurants right on the beach as well. Restaurants of almost every category, expensive, fast, tapas, pizzas, and in particular, sea food. The Paseo goes for miles to San Pedro which is quite a walk but a beautiful one. Coming toward the sea from Old Town Marbella you pass through a park that had Dali sculptures on it. I have made this walk at least 100 times and have never tired of the people watching, the lovely sights and the food along the Paseo.

What a lovely walk !! Starting from the Salvador Dali Promenade you walk in the direction of Puerto Banus with lots of shops , bars and restaurants along the way. Always busy with tourists and Spanish families taking the air especially at weekends. As you walk further the focus changes to the beach , and tropical vegetation which is lovely . For the adventurous you can walk all the way to Banus which is approximately 6 kms and takes some 90 minutes or so. When you get there you can have a leisurely lunch , take in the shops and the atmosphere and then catch the catamaran back to the port in Marbella. What a way to spend an afternoon !! Fantastico .

Bonjour:

There are Mercadonas pretty well everywhere. If you are in Marbella there should be no problem as there is a large shopping complex at La Canada.
