Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Almost hidden away in the old town the church is not quite as "decorative" as others that you will find in the area. You can see it from the street but there is an iron gate which prevents entry . It is a small church and the religious icons are not overwhelming. But you can light an electric candle! It is a peaceful place.

A Hospital chapel built in the 16th century. Open to the public for viewing and free to enter and another item to put on your list of things to look at when in Old Town. See attached image for further reading info.

Beautiful old. He h that looks like it’s tilting to one side. Nothing is particularly lined up straight and it’s tiny! Well worth a visit!

This is a lovely small church in the old market of Marbella. Marbella is a beautiful town with lots of gems like this and it is definitely worth the visit.

It is a beautiful little chapel not always opened but if you are passing by it is worth a quick stop . Located in a typical narrow street in the old town of Marbella

This is a beautiful little church on a corner in the old town. You stumble into it by accident. Recommended.

Nice piece of catholic history in the middle of all the shops and bars heavily guarded by metal gates so you have to look from the outside in.

The outside of this church is very simple, but although small inside, the altar and religious icons are quite wonderful, you can only view the church through iron gates, but this doesn't stop you from enjoying what you see and taking the obligatory photographs.
Worth a visit when you are in the Old Quarter.

Walking through the old town brings you to pleasant surprises such as this chapel. Constructed in the sixteenth century as a hospital chapel, the exterior is relatively simple but the inside has a splendid mujedar timber ceiling and provides a quite place of reflection and worship, away from the busy streets outside.
