Most bars / restaurants in Malaga are down streets with high buildings so you don't get any sun which is OK in summer but when you do want to sit in the sun then this is one place to go. It's a huge square with a good choice of bars at the far end, most with a Picasso theme as... More

This square where the Picasso statue is comes alive at night with bars and restaurants lining each side. Its beautiful with all the trees lit up. Lots of lovely tapas bars to work your way round all with patio heaters to keep you cosy.

If you want a place to relax for a drink, this square is in the center. There are plenty of restaurants, of all styles.

This is a beautiful square. The monument itself is in honor of 48 men that came back from being banished to England to start a revolution. They landed on the shores of Malaga and the army was waiting for them. So it ended right there. The revolution that almost was. Interesting to learn of the one non-Spanish person on the... More

Pretty plaza, clean and surrounded by places to eat and drink. The trees are full of green monk parrots if you care to see them.

Pleasant square but with obelisk in the middle commemorating those who died in the 1831 anti-Catholic uprising. Some nice bars and cafes but as has been mentioned there are some strange characters around who will approach you. Birthplace of Picasso whose house is nearby.
