Beautiful theater with every show very well done. Many friendly staff and incredible details (look up when you are inside- I wonder how long it took to paint!) my pictures do it no justice.

For people from Cádiz, this theatre is like a temple. Everyone wants to act there, usually in carnival, and the greats one like a single artists. It is a small one and it has a great drawing in the roof. It is called "Templo de los ladrillos colorados" because of the facade

Happened to be in Cadiz when a civic Gala (variety) performance was taking place - included many very successful and professional "local" performers such as flamenco's Jonathan Santiago. Fascinating to see the audience reaction. We feel very fortunate to take in this performance and only 20 euros for the best seats! If you are in Cadiz, be sure to check... More

Ok, architecture there is a marvel, too. But foremostly, we learn about how the great composer Manuel de Falla, born 23/11/1876, bridged flamenco to classic music, in a revolutionary albeit sweet mode...

This was not open for touring when we were here, but the outside is wonderful. I loved the use of bricks, the patterns created were so artistic. The color is memorable, adding to overall feeling of timelessness. We passed by it often, but each time it was still visually drawing us in to explore its lines in greater detail.

Landmark of the southwestern part of the casco antiguo, this nicely restored building is also a theater that houses a lot of events.

actully; the Gran Theatre Manuel de Falla in Plaza de Falla and aside from the color which makes stand out, the architecture is very reminiscent of the arches to be found in the Alhambra and Medinat a-Zahara, which is to say it very much makes the building a very striking architectural piece. Sadly we did not have enough time to... More

We found out about some free concerts from the tourist information booth. We went two nights in a row. The first was a classical guitarist. The second was a trio of guitar, recorder, and voice doing baroque music. Both concerts were upstairs in the foyer. The acoustics were good there. We peeked in the main theater. It looked very nice.... More

Super beautiful, great for pictures! I wish I had a house there! It's a lovely walk, especially in the evening when the sun is setting and the sea becomes orange!

I saw a brilliant Ballet Flamenco production, it was quity special, energetic and really different, a taste of Spain combined with ballet. In any case I would have gone to see anything at this theatre as it is a fantastic historical and absolutely beautiful building and I felt fortunate that I had passed through Cadiz when they had a performance...
