You may wait here a bit till you can enter the Mezquita, but it's a pretty place to wait. Many orange trees, but if there are oranges on them don't try to eat any...they're a variety of very sour oranges generally only used for marmalade.
One walks into the Mosque/Cathedral through this area. We went when there were no oranges or blossoms, I am told though that to visit during the orange blossom season is very special, as the beautiful fragrance of the blossoms heightens the lovely experience.
Since if you're in Cordoba, the Mezquita Cathedral is a must, visiting this magnificent mosque, you walk through this enchanting orange patio. Depends on the time of the year, that you can smell the sweet fragrance of the orange blossoms, or adore the oranges hanging...More
