I have to agree with Elliot B on this one. When we visited the place it was very cramped and although our appointment was at 6pm we were sat in the waiting room for at least 20 minutes - half an hour. People were served on a first-come-first-serve basis. What made the experience very disappointing was that although we arrived... More

I’ve been to many hammams and this is probably one of the best ones, not necessarily from an authenticity standpoint, but the fact that it’s co-ed and and the facilities are super clean and well kept. You’re only limited to 2 hours in the Arabian bath where you can experience the cold plunge pool, warm pool, and hot tub and... More

This spa/hammam has the potential to offer a great experience. Unfortunately, it accepts way too many people for its size and has become a sub-standard "hammam chain" with far less than satisfactory hygienic conditions. The changing rooms and showers are tiny (two shower cabins for 15 people, when we visited), the baths are always over-crowded and one has to queue... More

Hello "Elliot B": Thanks for your comments. We are sorry that your visit to Hammam Al Ándalus wasn't to your liking. We have a maximum of people per shift, but on specific days, these shifts usually fill and reach that maximum. That's why we always recommend that you visit us in quieter shifts. As for the hygiene, it is done... More

I was a bit hesitant when my sister suggested visiting the Hammam during our Cordoba visit, as I read some bad reviews about the Granada one. But I'm very happy we went there! The place is reasonably small, very clean and very cosy! Very nice staff, especially by the pools. Everything ran smoothly from being greeted in reception and taken... More

Hello "Maria O": Thank you for sharing your opinion after your visit to Hammam Al Ándalus. We were glad to know that you enjoyed the experience. The Arab Baths are exquisite and the perfect place to come and relax. I've been twice since my time in Cordoba. They offer special deals for university students and have a wide range of packages, all at reasonable prices. If you are in the city it is a must do.

I was undecided about going to the Arab baths. It was summer and it was very hot in Cordoba! Once inside the Arab Bath House, I allowed myself to enjoy an exquisite experience surrounded by a wonderful combination of natural light, colors, architecture and water pools at different temperatures.

The Hamam is very beautiful and could be a true experience, it is small, but they don't let too many people in, which is great. However they let everyone in at the same time (a group enters at the same time and leaves about 90 minutes later). Which means you have to queue up at the entrance, you will be... More

Nice pools with different temperatures in a not outstanding place. I remember hammam in Istanbul, Amman or Petra with much nicer settings. One hour massage was fine, gentle. I think I am spoiled by the Lao or Thai massages 😉

Dear "Stéphane D": Thanks for your comments. Effectibily, our Hammam is different from others in Turkey or Morocco because our Hammam is based on the Andalusian Bath, which was the one in the time of Al Ándalus in the Iberian peninsula. Thanks again for your opinion. Regards. More

We loved our visit to Hammam Al Andalus Banos Arabes! We did an hour visit plus a 30 minute massage. This was different from the Turkish bath I visited in Istanbul in that YOU control your experience by deciding which rooms to visit, when, and for how long. I really appreciated that. This was one of the best things we... More
