A beautiful church both from outside and inside. In particular the altarpiece is interesting, made by Lucas Cranach . But There are also very interesting epitaphs and a fine organ, on which there are concerts onde a week in summer.

The church has many services during the day/evening. I most recently visited the Advent service. Right on the plaza and easily accessible from the Markt center.

The painters were in whitewashing everything so plain white. Detailing picked out in gold, the altar and a few memoria so ornate. The altar pieces are the draw here and are very intricate. The over riding impression is wow that's white.
