It was a little difficult for me to find the place coz I didn't have cell service to look up the location. But I eventually made it there after asking a few people. The front part of the museum is free. You need to pay...More

The staff upon arrival were very friendly. A good experience listening to Bach music being played on 5 different pianos from different periods. It was an interesting tour looking into Bach's life. Definitely recommend it

Lovely displays, interesting instruments and great music! The home provides live performances as well as a great lesson on the life and musical journey of Bach. Would highly suggest this attraction. It is very close to downtown and the Luther home.

Eisenach is an interesting old town with plenty of history of Luther, Bach and Telemann. Wartburg Castle is on a hill (better to use transport to the castle than walk unless very fit). It is well worth a visit to walk around the old town...More

The Bachhaus and tour is a great experience. From the demonstration on Bach's instruments, to the self guided tours and music bubble room, a Bach/classical/baroque music enthusiast will be in heaven!

We thoroughly enjoyed the music and exhibits, especially the live concert performed on instruments from Bach's time. The two women at the front desk were more than just unfriendly, they were rude. Their faces were stern and even angry. My friend speaks German and is...More

Bach did write here but probably wasn't born here. They have a collection of antique instruments which they demonstrate. Great listening opportunities throughout the museum. A must for classical music fans.

This is now not thought to be the birth place of Bach, but is a house of the same age and near to his birth house. The self guide tour gives a lot of information about Bach and there are several places to sit and...More

One of my favorite museums on our two week trip -- The high point is the musician who played Bach compositions on some old organs, harpsichords, and clavichords. We also enjoyed the multiple head sets to listen to different Bach compositions and the room playing...More
