This is great way to spend 2-3 hours in Dresden especially if weather is good. I would suggest not to rush, visit many cute stores with the different unique souvenirs, have lunch or brunch in one of the cafe.

Really interesting. It rained and it was consequently majic. I won't spoil the surprise if you also go when t is raining. Heavier the better. I was taken there by a dancer friend.

Cool stores, cafés and people. We had such a great time around. Check out the Feng Shui Haus for delicious cakes!

Head across the river from the Old Town to Neustadt. There are numerous cafes, bars, interesting shops and a funky hip environment.

You enter this area and it has a different feel altogether. The complex has few shops and coffee shop. It is fun to stroll around and explore. The area outside has different feel - didn't feel too safe, but at the same time didn't face...More

It is a wonderful complex of inner yards with many littel shops - fashion, jewelry, ceramic & nice cafés. Every yard has its own face, all of them are full of inspiration. Unfortunatelly it was raining when we were there but charming!

A bit difficult to find but worth the effort, I have never seen anything like this before. The whole district where this place is situated is interesting, a bit alternative, with interesting shops and all kinds of different restaurants. Interesting for young people or those...More

It's a bit far from the old town, but it's definitely worth it. You probably won't spend much time here, 15 minutes or so if you only want to look at the interesting artistic facades of the buildings, but they are very unusual and worth...More

Amazing artistic area. Like an open air museum you could wander through for hours! (or rather an hour) Cool neighbourhood that also involves some hip shops and cafes.

I really liked this place in Hamburg. It is interesting, alternative and unconventional. However, i wouldn't recommend it if you are going on a daily trip for the first time to Dresden. I was and ended up regretting not spending my whole time in the...More

There are numerous reviews stating that Kunsthofpassage is hard to find but few that state how they actually got there. Could anyone advise on the best way to travel to Kunsthofpassage? Tram from where ... What the walking conditions are like from Alstadt (ie flat, hilly?). Thanks

I downloaded in my phone the tripadvisor information for Dresden and it was very easy to find. It shows you in the map of each place where it is and where you are. You can see yourself as a moving point... And it is flat. We... More

If I remember correctly tram no. 13 will get you almost in front of the place or 7 and 8 to one of the parallel streets. It is a short ride from the old city , I'd say about 5-6 stations. I walked from the Frauen kirche and... More
