Once the private garden of the Count of Bruehl, this large open plaza offers the city's best view of the River Elbe. Under the terrace are trenches, battlements and other remnants of the city's original fortifications.

When in Dresden this is a must see. The Bruehl Terrace offers a great opportunity for a stroll along the river while enjoying some of the finest buildings in the city. It is stunningly beautiful!

This was a bit disappointing given the description. Not well landscaped, crowded and not far from construction. Not a must see.

The views and the vistas of and across the Elbe are amazing. This is as good a place as the best in the world to sit and enjoy the sole four of beautiful nature and urban beauty combined.
