Wonderful historic paddle steamers cruising the Elbe in timeless fashion. Great food, service, and very reasonable prices. My 2nd trip, and just as enjoyable.

In the off-season there are very few trips. I took a Sunday morning Dresden trip, up to the Blue Wonder bridge and back. Pleasant environment, table service for beer and snacks and a good English commentary

Nice trip across the river Elbe. Check the hours of the different ships. Not all ships are powered by steam. Check in advance the pier of departure; they often change at the last moment.

Sailing on the Elbe adds another layer of romance to this romantic city. Notice how many couples are lined up, hand in hand. Families are there, too. The ride is so relaxing and refreshing on a summer day or evening. The details are all told...More
