A palace, but with the looks of it you would expect it in a disney movie. On a sunny day it better in real life than on any photo.

We did not go into the building, in not even certain it is open to the public, but the gardens were fantastic! It was a great place for the kids to run off some energy. Many lovely statues, plants, and fountains.

I didn't get to tour the inside, it was too late but the outside gardens were open and fantastic! It's a must see even if you just get to see the expanding gardens.

A good place to hop off - you can see the Basilica as well as this Palais. Nice place to walk around and catch the ambiance of Trier. On a windy day, the flags will "sing" to you as you wait for the bus.

This place is quite unique in Trier. The architecture, the flair of the near garden and the statues - it's as if this place wouldn't really belong to the rest of the ancient and medieval city. As I've been there a couple of times already,...More
