The people listened to performances by rock bands, which took place on a makeshift stages set where possible, but mostly on the squares, danced, laughed, ate street food, which was sold from the stalls. And... More

When coming to the greater region, this is a place you definitely shouldn't miss as it is the most emblematic location in southwest Germany to get a glance of old German architecture in comparison to the architecture of its neighbouring countries.

Amazing place, all full of varied architectural designs some medieval and some not. Full of historical structures and symbols. Be ready with your camera charged, so that all will be documented or made as memoirs of the travel.

there was no doubt that it was one of the most important places in the city. A large square surrounded by beautifully preserved houses and structures, it was also a place that travelers should not skip in his visit to Trier. Its location near famous sites and as the geographical center of the historic section meant that it is not... More

This place is a unique composition of old town houses just next to the Cathedral. I walked the place early in the morning (6:30 a.m.) on beautiful summer day. It is worth to get up early and enjoy the quiteness of the place with no crowds and just the church bells ringing.

Visiting any of these towns in Germany...stopping at the outdoor market is always a must even if you don't buy anything. You can learn much about the area by the goods that are sold there.

Great for a stroll eating pretzels or gelato on a sunny day. You can find good local foods and flowers from the vendors. Christmas market is a must see!!!
