I'm already used to the fact that if the square near the theatre – especially in a city, like Koblenz, will have it as a dominant building. But in Koblenz this turned different. You would expect that such a cellar only covers the underground area of the building, but what you really experience is a brethtaking underground walk in a huge system of cellars and tunnels through a significant part of the old city of Koblenz.

I made a Sight-seeing tour around Wine Celler. It was really interesting and very recommended. They have a location for a private function (with a small group) where you can rent. Of Course they will organize you all the catering incl. Wine Celler Tour and Tasting etc.... There is also a Wine Shop for your souvenier to take back home.

Must say: confusing how to take part in a guidetour, as the cellar can only be visited taking part in a guidetour (fom 20 people onwards) as info seems to be scarse! Managed to ba accepted in a pre-booked guidetour (being just two interested tourists. Must say all my effort was worthwhile: the best sekt for value (just 3,90 Euro... More
