Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Don't go here expecting to be blown away by artwork, it has some neat things, but not any signs (In German or otherwise) describing the artwork in here. There are pieces from the 15th to the 18th century. Bombed during WWII, the entire church renovation was completed in the 1970’s and 80’s. Remodeled after pictures and descriptions from the medieval era. A column-framed painting of St. Nicholas is here, from 1680. A wooden crucifix (mid-14th century), figures of the Virgin Mary and Josef (mid-18th century). There are also three grave plates of the powerful Burgtorn family buried here in the 1500’s.

The Baroque onion towers of this church make it stand out from other churches in the town. Hints of Gothic influences add to the charm of the place, at least for me. It's not the most decorated church I've ever seen but has a lovely ceiling. Worth visiting and taking some time to explore inside.

Liebfrauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) in Koblenz has a history dating back to the 5th century. The church has been extended several times in its original foundation. It's free to visit, donations always welcome. It's beautiful inside! No wonder it's been part of the Roman Monuments, UNESCO World Heritage Site list since 1986.

This church is a good example of something that was in near ruins that was rebuilt after the war. It is not so oppressive as some of the larger cathedrals and has some lovely windows.

This church was really nice. And it's located in the old part of the city so there are many sites around it.

The Church of Our Lady is an old Romanesque Church in the old town of Koblenz. The twin towers together together with the nice internal parts of the church are worth viewing. The church is just off the main square and easily accessible. Recommended.

The Church of Our Lady Romanesque is a beautifully serene place of peace with star vaulted ceilings, and beautiful stained glass. It overlooks the Mosel River.

One of the main churches in the city. It was the urban parish church before the secularization of religious property in the early 19th century. Moreover, it is perhaps the oldest in Koblenz, for it stands on the foundations of the old temple another 5 (!) century. Its importance in recent years has increased markedly. First, neighboring Florinskirche was handed over to the Lutherans, and secondly, Liebfrauenkirche almost did not suffer during the second world war, only the roof and stained glass windows. Stained glass windows are made new, and there are not only mother Teresa on them, but also several woman residents of Koblenz.
The church looks elegant. Whitewashed walls, red trim corners, red-and-white palette in the interiors, a mixture of almost all architectural styles (the church was constantly rebuilt), high second floor, the two towers, completing the facade – all this gives the special expression to the external appearance of the church.

This is not a tourist trap like so many old-town churches are. Much was destroyed during WW2 and has been rebuilt. It is a peaceful, restful place to pray and meditate, has some very nice stained glass.

The Liebfrauenkirche (The Church of Our Lady) is found in the in Altstadt (Old Town) area of Koblenz, while I would not go to Koblenz specifically to visit this church, if you are in Koblenz then it is certainly worth a visit.
It is a light and airy church that has a long history although it has been restored with quite a modern feel to it.
We were quite taken with the crucifix above the high alter which we thought was quite unusual and the beautiful statue of Our Lady.
