Nice, clean, empty and bland, this town hall has little to offer other than a brief distraction/peak during a walk through the very interesting town of Koblenz.

The Rathaus, Town Hall, is in a former Cistercian monastery, three wings of 16th-17th centuries erected the Jesuits, "the Society of Jesus." It was purchased by the city in 1891, and converted to the City Hall. It’s quaint but undistinguished as probably the Jesuits preferred.

Visited here on our Viking River Cruise. These old towns and their buildings are amazing. Such a history lesson traveling thru Europe. There are days words cannot be found.

In my opinion there is not a lot of differences between German Town Halls. This one is no exception. Nothing special, nothing remarkable!

unassuming town hall to the point you would hardly know it was the rathaus of a major city. probably doesn't help that the place was ruined by ww2 allied bombing, necessary or not. Both times I have visited I have admired the autumn leaves patterning...More

Although it is of a historical value, I think as a building there are many town halls in Germany that would surpass this one. It took me some time to find it and was not impressed with the architecture.

I liked the architecture of this little plaza. It was really cool to see, but a little difficult to find. But worth a visit.
