Back on annual trip to this great city & this tiny watering hole. Could not visit Dusseldorf without visiting this place & seeing old friends . . . . . Love it !

Zum Frank is on the edge of the Duss Altstadt and is one of the few remaining old styled German bars left and does attract a bit of a mature crowd, which is fine because that includes me nowadays. Very much a locals bar it...More

Not as bad as some I've visited, but still a dive bar. Staff were nice, but pretty cramped inside. Not really the sort of place I would visit too often.

Small locals bar unwelcoming to visitors. Be wary of bar staff significantly overcharging tourists who are unaware of prices. TV screens and piped music.

Unbelievably uninterested and virtual dead atmosphere. Would not recommend. Maybe it was the timing, but at the end of the afternoon I expected something more bruising in lively Düsseldorf at this potentially nice bar.
