We loved the Altstadt - huge variety of bars and restaurants and a real buzz in the evenings, even during the week. (Be prepared for lots of stag dos at the weekend). Great mix of old brew pubs selling delicious dark beer and modern bars....More

Altsadt is one hell of place to always meet up with friends, enjoy drinks and sometimes go out dancing. It's surely made my year here worthwhile

Compared to other German cities, Düsseldorf's old city isn't quite as quaint, but it's worth a visit.
