A Sunday morning walk from Rheinknie Brucke to Oberkasseler Brucke was a good way to blow away the effects of a long Saturday of Christmas markets and over consumption of Gluehwein. Even on a damp and overcast morning the Rhine was a pleasure to walk...More

The Rheinuferpromenade is a nice place to walk, even on a windy day November. It gives a great view over the river and the bridges crossing the river. Since the Rhine is a busy river you can see many ships passing by.

The promenade along the Rhine is very nice, with a beautiful view of the river and the city of Dusseldorf. It features places to eat and a Christmasmarket for some warming drinks in the cold wind.

Lovely stroll along the river and the old town. It's not breathtaking, but it's nice to see a different side of the town.

Lots and lots of shops from cheap to the expensive side. Restaurants around for a quick bite or sit down and enjoy. Crowded but well worth the time to go and shop. If you dont mind the crowds.

The Rhine promenade is one of the highlights of the city. Take a stroll here around sunset, have a drink and look at the changing colours in the sky with the amazing tv tower in the background.
