Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely park for stroll on nature, has a lake and a welcomes tower nearby, but not one of the ones visitable by public.
They also do a park run on Saturdays in this park.

Had nice weather and really enjoyed the sight and feel of the park. Lots of open rolling grass fields and a nice reflective pool.

I spent a magical morning at this peaceful park, simply walking the paths and watching the ducks, but there is much to see and do here. Always an advocate of parks in general, I recommend them even more when on vacation for relaxing times. This park is worth it if you have time, or even if you dont.

My twin brother Stephen and I were in Cologne during the Christmas period and visited Hirishima - Nagasaki Park on a cold and rainy Wednesday morning and what a beautiful park this is.
The park was more or less deserted due to the cold and rain so I could really appreciate the tranquility of the park, well kept and lots of paths to wander around, named in honour of the two catastrophic nuclear bombings that occurred in these two Japanese city's that finally brought the curtain down on world war two which in my opinion was the darkest chapter in the history of mankind, the park has more significance than you would expect, large area's of the landscape are formed from the rubble of the buildings devastated by the relentless bombing this city endured during world war two, the artificial lake in the centre of the park is superb, there's also some nice bars in the park which is most definitely well worth checking out if your planning a trip to Cologne.

A lovely peaceful park to contemplate the horrors of war and hatred. The park commemorates the two nuclear bombings in Japan. However it is even more poignant when you realise that the hills in the park are made out of the rubble from the bombing of Cologne during WW2.

If the weather is nice during your visit to Cologne you should visit the park. It is a nice place to walk, run, bike, sunbathe or just relax. There is a beer garden there but when I visited it was closed.

We enjoyed a walk through the park on our first day after arriving. Really spacious despite there being a lot of people there, didn't feel crowded at all. The lake is lovely, we stopped for drinks at one of the cafe's which was reasonably priced. Great place to relax.

A little bit away from the city centre, but really a nice place to chill, drink or BBQ. Such a peaceful place and lots of space! It is also nice to do some jogging or cycling around the park!

Easily accessible by tram, the park offers huge amount of space, and is perfect for a day out with friends and a BBQ. If you’re looking to buy drinks whilst their I would recommend finding a man selling on his bicycle who patrols all over the parks path ways, the beer is twice the size of that in the bar but the same price as the bar of €2.50

Hiroshima-Nagasaki Park is a peaceful memorial park located to the north of the University of Cologne and West of the city center. It was a beautiful park and a great place to take a break while walking thru the city.
