If you like post 1900 modern art and sixties pop art, this museum is it. It has one of the largest Picasso collections in Europe. Ditto Warhol. Named after a chocolate millionaire, not a musician. Gift store.

The Ludwig has a collection of modern art including impressionism, cubism and other styles. There are Warhols, Picassos and more. The building is lovely - very light and spacious - and right next to the Cathedral and station, so easy to get to.

The building is amazing and as well the collection. I came with not much expectation and I had a very good surprise. If you like this kind of art, you should not leave Cologne without visiting it!

Gerhard Richter: His birthday exhibiton was great, colorful, energized art. I was happy to stay in Cologne at this time.

The third largest collection of Picasso's works after Barcelona and Paris and the most comprehensive collection of early Russian avant-garde outside Russia.

This museum of modern art is pretty vast. We got here at 1600 and we're told it would close at 1800. We therefore had to maintain a constant walking pace in order to cover everything the attraction had to offer. We literally just managed to...More

A terrific survey of German Expressionism that is very well arranged with good explanations in both English and German. The same for the impressive Pop Art collection
