This Palace is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are great for a picnic. It's a good place to take families with kids. And good for solos you just want to sit and read a book.

This imposing building has seen better days, at least based on the appearance of the exterior. It has been turned into an office building so the stop-and-stare factor is at play here. It is pretty enough, from a distance, to be appealing and it is...More

Loved visiting the Poppelsdorf Palace and botanical gardens. It was a great way to enjoy Bonn. We loved listening to the frogs croak in the fountains and walking around the meandering pathways, getting lost in it all. And who doesn't like a palace?

Very beautiful place with lovely gardens. It gives you a glimpse of how the wealthy lived. It's a popular wedding venue, and we saw two of them.

Poppelsdorf palace and the surrounding area is beautiful. Ideal for a long walk and there's plenty of restaurants/cafe's within a 5 minute walk from there. Definitely a must see if visiting Bonn!

I wandered over to the palace and really enjoyed it. The walk there is peaceful and the place is beautiful. There is not much to see inside, but it is worth the walk.

To my disappointment, I did not have enough time to visit Botanical Garden behind the palace so had to be content with quite pleasant stroll along Poppelsdorfer Allee and admiring the beautiful houses around and the palace itself. It was some repair works going on...More

We walked to the palace mainly looking for the Botanic Garden, which was there but not open. It's a handsome building, especially from a bit of a distance, a little beat-up up close. However, we a little surprised to find that the palace now seems...More

A part of the Local University, it is part of the gardens and is well worth seeing and taking your time at.
