We went on a Sunday afternoon, but the museum wasn't too crowded. Exhibit is good, but not all areas feature English guides. The 'water' section features touch screens and English is available; some other areas are missing English version. They are currently featuring a special w about spiders and scorpions - nicely curated and wide variety of species on display.... More

My Family goes at least twice a year, whenever we get visitors, mostly with children - for years. our children do not get bored of it and are excited every time again, and they learn. Good mix of real animals, Pictures and Information, feel and sense and some actvities for children. Who hasn't been, should go, at least once.

I found Museum Alexander Koenig Studlls Zoologicis Sacrum (as written at the entrance) has taxidermist collection of a variety of tropical and temperate origin wild animals. For kids it can be an excellent place to start their introduction with mammals, fishes and birds of different species. For myself, as a man grown in tropics, it has been a wonderful experience... Our kids loved it and my wife was impressed by the nice way all the educating information was offered to visitors. I liked it as well and we all felt satisfied with what we had seen... More

As some of the comments suggest - it is a perfect kids place. Although, the collection is big, it is rather a traditional museum, with a very little interactive parts, which might be confusing in our digital, high-tech era. So, expecting a traditional museum will not lead to any dissapointment, on the contrary, one can learn a lot and admire... More

The museum might be a pleasant experience for very young kids, but it rather looks old-style, with not so impressive collections. I would rather label it as average, maybe a little bellow average...

This natural history museum is like an open book, in which you can see pictures and you can read about animals from different areas of the world. From the African savanna, to the polar regions, the museum takes you through the different habitats of animals that you can admire in beautiful dioramas. The museum is very well organized and the...
