This church dates from Roman but looks Gothic from work done in the 13th century. The cloister however still shows evidence of Roman work. It is not one of the best German churches but if in the square have a look.

It is a nice church but not worth taking a detour to see it. If you are in Munster Platz check it out. It will take you 5-10 minutes.

As I come from the city with highest church tower, I wanted to see the dome of Bonn. Unfortunately it was closed for renovations! Outside looks ok, but Ulmer Muenster is more impressive.

Not a cathedral, but still beautiful! It's free so it's definitely worth the trip. Some places are off limits to tourists.

It's in one of the main squares and has a number of protrusions on the outside that are worth looking at from different angles and different light. The gallery is especially nice (and I noticed a similar one on grosse kirche in Cologne). Inside is...More

Spent a few hours here with the kids, can eat on the square adjacent, right next to beethovens stature.

This church is right in the center of old town. Nice piece of architecture. Interior is tranquil. Worth a stroll.

This was another grand church, but I found it particularly lovely! I was there just around noon, and there was a small service going on in the choir area, but tourists were still allowed to wander quietly. There was no charge, which was nice, and...More
