Impressive statue (unfortunately currently under maintenance). Worth a visit but would recommend reading the story behind the Bahkauv, which is an Aachen legend.

a black statue, kind of a little monstre, one of a kind! Somehow out of the inner centre, but not far and easy to reach, be patient and you'll find it, it definitely worth seeing and taking a great picture!

I would highly recommend taking the city tour and getting the history of this beautiful and scary beast. The city tour was excellent and the history of this beast was even more fun.
