We were here during a cruiseship port of call, and the town square, and streets leading to and away from it contain unique shops, restaurants and houses. Some buildings are half-timbered.There is one problem though in that if you are there on a Sunday the shops are closed due to local bylaws.

The Church is Full of History and Much better to have a Guide or you will miss far too much. The Architecture and Stained Glass is Magnificent and works out Will with the Steam Train to complete a Nice Round Trip

The central square in this small town is a lovely public space with nice buildings and a simple and elegant church. The whole town is relaxing and peaceful, with very good vibe, in spite of tourist crowd.

Nice buildings around the place, the church is also worth a visit, but the place is still a construction site. There is also the Edeka grocery store here to get some food and water (and more). Unfortunately, they keep the parking area. They should ban the cars to car parks, also on the Seestrasse right next to the beach, which... More
