What a wonderful garden, quiet, multiple paths, plenty of benches to relax, some water elements like a steam and pools. I'm sure as the warm weather continues things will really blossom!

When I visited in September, I believe what I saw was that it is not very well kept. Many plants were missing the information tags. Bushes, dead plans etc Quite big place in area with a wide variety of plants from all over the world...More

As this is a University, there a lot of trial plots and plants are labelled well, so very interesting. Also very beautiful and amazing tropical glasshouse.

osnabruecks main mining was for sandstone and this garden is set in one of the old mines. it is amazing in all seasons and the sandstone walls shelter the plants. so it is possible to set up even a mediterranian garden in the otherwise colder...More
