The park around where filled with youngsters doing the first kissing and holding hands. The walk took 15 minuets in slow steps and the late sun gave a wonderful light on the building.

Don't forget to make a tour all around the city hall, especially in the evening. Enjoy some good times in the gardens with a beautifull view on the impressive building, reflected in the water.

This is an historic building with a carved marble staircase. Representations of Hannover since its founding including what it looked like after bombing from WWll. Took slanting elevator to very top and the 360 view was awe inspiring.

This is a very historic building and we rode the crazy elevator to the top of the dome, from which there is an outstanding view of the city.

The Rathaus is a great building with history. The building itself is magnificent but the models of Hannover before WW2, and after WW2 really show the destruction that occurred. Then there is the present day model which shows how the city has been rebuilt.

We went to take a quick look, and stayed for hours, I love the library there. You can't touch the books but just to see them all is impressive.
