We took our daughter for her 2nd birthday. We weren't very impressed with this place for the price. It took about an hour to make it through the entire aquarium, and that was redoing things because a 2yo's attention span isn't all that impressive. I would recommend this as something to do if it's raining, but I don't think we'll... More

It was raining when we went, it's an ideal place to visit when it's raining as everything is indoors. The problem was the queue was out the door which meant standing in the rain for a long time. Pre-booking a ticket didn't help either, you need the fast track ticket if you don't want to wait in the rain. Inside... More

Allow an hour to explore everything. Indoor sealife and you can take your time to see everything. Beautiful creatures to be amazed. Highly recommended for families with kids and they'll love the experience!

Very interesting place. We enjoyed our walk in there.Especially if you have kids is wonderful!! Also plays various kinds of presentations from experts for reptiles or fishes. ..The ticket i believe that responds to what is offering and if you hang it through internet,u earn some discount.

We had higher expectations. This place is not as big as it seems. Aquariums showing fishes are small. The 'big' tunnel under the water has no clean glass and due to the lights its not possible to see clearly. There was no lockers available to leave small bags so we had to carry them during the walk. It was good... More

Hello Huguito79, thank you for your Feedback. We are sorry that we were not meet your expectations. We have already told the problem with the glass to the aquaristic and they cleaned the disc with a special magnet, so the visibility is well again. We would like to thank you for this advice and hope to welcome you again. Best... More

The ticket itself is quite expensive but you can get a discount if you book online or if you buy a combi-ticket with the Berggarten (Botanical Garden) right beside it. I would definitely recommend this. It is quite warm in the building and as there's also a big glass dome with tropical plants you should make use of the possibility... More

This place is just for children. Very limited varieties of fishes and other creatures. And most of the time the description did not match the fish in the tank.

We were visiting the gardens within the same complex and didn't know before we came that the Sea Life Centre was there. We bought a joint ticket for thirteen euros per adult at the Herrenhausen Gardens ticket booth which includes the sea life centre. (Sea life centre normally 17.50 euros per adult on its own), so a really good deal!... More

We've been to lots of good Sea Life places around Europe, and this wasn't one of them. Very poor quality of exhibits, didn't take very long to go around and it was really expensive. Definitely not worth the entrance fee.
