Did not think that the church was that special, but it is nice to see. More interesting are the timberframed houses around the church. Does make you feel like wonderking thru a little Swissvillage

In the medieval Magniviertel just round the corner from Hotel Wienecke in Kuhstr. Very interesting rebuild designed by the congregation with modern stained glass strip windows on one side and medieval sculptures on the other. Also walk round the back of the church for more...More

Originally consecrated in 1031 AD, the parish church was built in 1252. The only portion from that time that remains is in the foundation. The "Magnus Bell" dates from 1335 and is the oldest bell in the region. The building was restored in the 1870's...More
