I visited this place apart from the hustle and bustle in the Christmas market. The small town was crowded with tourists. The inside of the church was serene space. I wanted to stay here much longer.

This Catholic Church of Saint James is a pretty sight in the heart of Rudesheim and is not nearly as ostentatious as some other churches and cathedrals and bastions that we have been to during our trip in Europe.

The church has photo displays and info about the bombing and total rebuilding of the church. It must have taken a lot of determination to rebuild, and it is still an active parish church.

Okay, so it was raining when we went in. We sat for some 20 minutes admiring the windows, statutes and the altar. We then said a short prayer and when we opened the door our prayer had been answered. It had stopped raining
