If you are in Fulda, you would be remiss to not visit the cathedral. It is expansive and ornate- the day We went had the choir practicing. The adjacent gardens are quite nice as well, with ancient sandstone statues and plaques.

We were fully surprised entering the city. Thought as a short stop on a long travel for lunch appeared a great pick. When you have the time the schlossgarten is great to walk through but the rest of the city also.

Such a pretty place - fountains, flowers, beautifully maintained lawn. It was interesting watching the trimming of topiary trees!
