Then I went for s walk thinking there will be some cool cafes and bars here. If it’s a risqué area-cool. Full of prostitutes and drug addicts and beggars. Forget about it. There is no fun to be had here unless your desperate.

People in Frankfurt usually avoid this street. During the day it's OK, but in the evening it's a disaster. Almost naked women calling out to passers-by, shady characters selling all sorts of contraband... Disgusting.
I walked around the area in the daytime while exploring Frankfurt. It was a Sunday morning and the place was practically deserted but I'm told that at night the whole area comes alive with wild, sleazy bars and at times chaos on the streets.
