Deichstrasse is one of the best examples of Hamburgs beautiful old city streets, with many shops typical for this location.

This is one of the historical buildings within the old town of Hamburg actually, and what its very nice is that the buildings feel old and historic, yet they are mostly occupied by great coffee places and all. Would go!

well, not really much to see other than these few old buildings. Similar in style as the houses Amsterdam. Worth popping down to see, but not much else around it. On the way to the fish markets, opera house area. Its a have to see...More

Directed to this street after asking for some places to drink and eat. Although, we never stopped, the walk through the area identified some very nice places which were clearly popular.
