If you have a bad hip or knee issues....skip this tour. However, it is every interesting and worth the 30-minute walk through. I'd pay the extra fee and have the guided tour. Friendly staff. It is a difficult climbing experience for older folks. Easy to...More

Having visited other submarine exhibits and museums around the world, I found this one to be the least educational, least interesting, and least informative. There is very little information to read as you move around the boat, and most of the compartments and cabins are...More

10E each and although you don't spend very long in there, wow it is so much fun and we laughed so much. It is so tight to get around and climb through small hatches and down ladders. Lots of fun.

The Uboat is very interesting - you can get to see all the internal workings - fascinating to think that they had quite a large crew living on it. It is quite narrow inside and it was quite warm

We discovered this Cold War Russian submarine by accident. We paid our entrance fee and were then left free to make our way through the Uboat at our leisure (we didn't bother with the tour). You have to clamber through some quite tight entrance hatches...More

We had a really fun morning exploring this submarine and talking about what each of the rooms would have been used for. It's not actually a u-boat though, it's a Russian submarine which wasn't a problem for us as we were just wanting to explore...More

Well worth a look at this Russian Submarine. You can go in and come out the other end. You need to be fairly nimble to get through all the doors. It's very cramped but really interesting. Nine euro's for entry.
