Visited this football stadion and museum with my family in December 2016. We took a guided tour which was very good. Although tour was basically in german language, the guide explained main points and answered all our questions in good english (we were only 5 persons on tour). Museum was worth a visit. My 8 year son was excited about... More

Have been here twice now as an away supporter, lost both times..... Great view from anywhere in the stadium, really good acoustics. A bit awkward to get to if you are not driving, it is in the middle of the park and a shuttle bus from the nearest S station is required. Part of a sports complex with an ice... More

Went here because my children begged me to go! It was lashing rain so we made the journey from hamburg city centre! We we arrived the place was deserted! We asked at reception when the next tour was and was told about 1.15 mins but they told us it would be English-speaking so we agreed! Paid €28 for 2 adults... More

If you love concrete this is your heaven. Looks like any other football stadium so no need to go there. HSV is one of the many local football clubs.

My other half insisted we did the tour of the stadium as he literally loves stadiums generally so we dutifully turned up for a tour at midday. We got in big unfortunately this is not the kind of tour that usually attracts foreigners do the tour was all in German. The tour guide was lovely though and gave us a... More

It's quite a trek to the stadium from either of the two appropriate S-Bahn stations but there are lots of pop-up bars along the way. Signing isn't great so you just end up following the regulars, which of course works just as well. Bit of a queue outside to get in and lots of stairs to go up to get... More

Group of us decided to check out Hamburg fc. The stadium was easy to reach from Hamburg city centre. We booked tickets from the uk and picked them up at the stadium. We loved that you could have a beer while watching the game. The Hamburg fans were very friendly and came up to chat with us about football and... More
