We were on Sunday 8.9.24 in the city park .
It held a sports festival for people with disabilities city .
Sadly, we found that all disabled parking lots were occupied, and a large part of the drivers did not have a disabled pass to park.
Unfortunately I have to rely on a disabled parking lot , it is very sad that there are people who are healthy and put themselves in a disabled parking lot.
The city park itself is totally beautiful we are very happy there only unfortunately we were very disappointed yesterday that there are so many selfish people.

Stadtpark in Germann means City Park and this is by all means a correct name for this. Located in the north part of Hamburg, it is well connected with metro (U-Bahn) and buses. I do not know the area of the park, but it is huge.
On the western side of it is Hamburg's planetarium while on the east, there is a huge bath. In between you have vegetation, jogging tracks, jungle, species of medicinal plants and a few eateries. One thing about Germany is that, you would find everything required at an attraction and all of them would be very neatly maintained.
The bath on the eastern side is a big attraction during summer days and you can see entire families having fun in the water. The planetarium on the east has regular shows about stars and sky, both in English and German.
A must visit, if you have time. But do not visit it in a hurry. Be here, relax and enjoy every bit of your stay.

If you want a day out with the kids the Stadtpark is first class. You have an enormous playing field, a lawn bigger than 10 football fields, a swimming pool, playing facilities for the kids,

It is great to go on a long walk in the summer in Hamburg Stadtpark. The park trails are all clean and well-maintained. There are many opportunities to go off the beaten path, however. In the summer, you're likely to hear music from one of the many concerts that are always held there, and features like the Planterium make the Stadtpark fun day and night. It's near public transportation, and at night the paths and streets are very well-lit, so you will feel safe here. It's one of the jewels of the very green city of Hamburg.

Vast grounds that are pretty well maintained all year around.
Do walk through all the different areas to see the varying plant species.
Great for family days out, relaxing with friends or sitting in solitude for a nice relaxing time. There are several lakes and one main lake that you can swim in if you wish. There is also the planetarium that is worth a visit. If you climb to the top there are amazing views of the city with a clear sky.

This is where LIFE takes place: the townspeople have a natural area which is full of life. Playing, doing sports, enjoying the sun, swimming, but also watching the flora, and barbecue, boating, driving remote-controlled boats, or just coming and looking.

This is a great park. The playground is surprisingly large and the children can spend hours here. The park itself is huge and there are many different things to do.

A beautiful Central City Park, with lots of beautiful Statues, greens, flowers, and activities. You can reach it by U bahn or car. Has 2 StadtRad locations where you can resent a bike. It has a large man made lake/pool where children can get wet and play with other games including slides and simil zip lining for kids. Large grass areas where many people play ball and barbique. Walking shoes are needed as you will want to walk a lot, Camera to practice your skills and take wonderful pictures. Count with 1-2 hours to enjoy and relax. Perfect for a Sunday as the city is closed and may people are there making the place lively.

The park itself is super nice, specially during summer when is full of people hanging around. The lake is clearly the favorite spot for summer days. Which I really didn't understand is that many places where surrounded by a fence near the lake and then you have to pay to access them. But there is also an open area, where you are free to sit and swim, so if you don't feel like joining this activities or places with a ticket, just avoid them a enjoy the public area that is also really nice. Bring your own food because prices are s little bit high and also the offer nearby the park is not so good.

This 102 year old Town Park is simply wonderful, it is 148 Hectar big, it is built in the Town Part of Winterhude, it is an open public park, where you can relax and enjoy the nature, a nice walk,have a bath, buy a ticket for a Stand up Paddel course,Play games with the Kids,play Minigolf,go Jogging, you can go alone with friends or family during the day, enjoy the Planetarium, or in the summer an awesome concert, because there is a big stage and all famous singers and groups gave Open Air concerts in this Park. A very beautiful Park.

Hi, just booked some tickets to watch the Rolling Stones in September at Stadtpark Hamburg and wondered if anybody knows if it will be indoors? Not sure if the park has an indoors arena for concerts...

All events at Stadt Park are in the open only.
Please be prepared according to the weather.
In Hamburg the weather can be unpredictable, rains often and if windy gets cold in the evening during September.
