Actually, I don't know why is this building on this things to do list... It's a police station, placed in a building with a banal look. You'll see it if you'll take a walk on Reeperbahn. But it's far to be a must see...

Directly on the Reeperbahn lies probably the most famous police district of Hamburg. Around the architecturally great building is always hustle and bustle. Again and again TV recordings. Always worth a photo ...

Reeperbahn

This is the main police station serving St Pauli and the Reeperbahn. It is a very old building and has some very ornate features including the old sign “police station” (politzei wache).

You would just walk by this place (unless you need the police of course or taken there by them with no choice!) but is really is worth taking the time to stop and enjoy the design and beauty of the building.
