Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, one of Germany's 18th century garden architects, created a quirky, eccentric garden/park within the confines of his ancestral estate. The schloss is impressive and reveals some of Pückler-Muskau's tastes. Very interesting and enjoyable 2 hour visit - recommend.

Was nice, but cold and cloudy so not as pretty. Will go back in the summertime. Free and not too hard to get to. Close to zoo.

I recommend to come here in autumn, amazing colors and the view! Also the park itself has a tiny and cute train transporting people around, amazing.

Beautifull park and beautifull castle. Long paths to walk. Interesting place and unusual because of earth pyramides.

Had a wonderful few hours walking around the beautiful park, gardens, woods, and then through to the Schloss...it is so lovely and so peaceful...what a lasting memory prince Puckler has created. Well worth a visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the park .The directions are not great.Park at the entrance by the pyramids. Have coins for the meter .The park is free pay for the house by the Gustof ...well worth it .Only toilet s are in the house.

A park consisting of a pretty big open area. The pyramid in the middle of the lake is the main attraction and it changes it's beauty from season to season. In a foggy winter morning, walking in the park is like walking on the cloud, as a tiny layer of fog covers all the park just like a matt.

Whether it be a longing for a fulfilling stroll or just the desire to be one with nature, Puecklerpark Branitz is the best place! This nature marvel is a creation of the landscape artist Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, who created this landscape from barren farmland. A perfect blend of water streams, woods and ponds and the centrally located pyramid is... More

This is the second park that Fürst-Pückler created and where he is also buried in a pyramid in the middle of a artificial lake. The walk to that lake goes past the old manor house and a lovely restaurant - beware of the wasps though! The whole park is perfectly landscaped although the day we visited it was one of... More

Because its not a park like every other park, it has too many strict rules. It is not allowed to walk or lay on the grass, to play on it, to drive the bicycle through it, to play with ball or something like it. Duke Pueckler made it as a grave and everything around it is sacred so, rules are... More
