Go to the Nature Level first

Lots of great experiments and things to do. We enjoyed it very much. We started at the nature level and then went downstairs. We missed the science show unfortunately.

We came as party of 5 with our child and all of us have been fascinated by the great presentation of the different themes. You can spend hours here, especially if you want to get involved and try the endless number of experiments to get a first-hand impression of physics, the human body, nature etc. We all enjoyed an entertaining... It is a science center with exhibits covering topics such as mankind, earth and cosmos. Interesting and informative enough. Make sure you experience the earthquake simulator!!! The external architecture resembles the head of a whale in the act of rising to the surface of water. Universum deserves a good 3 to 4 hours for a comprehensive tour. Recommended!!!!

Such an excellent museum - everyone (4 fifty yr olds, and 17 yr old and 14 yr old boys) found things of interest and fun. Needed somewhere to go as plane home was 9.45pm, but really would recommend it as a great day out.

My "guide" wasn't the best at explaining exactly what we were doing there. The building from the exterior is very interesting, the interior leaves a lot to be desired. The exhibit itself was fun, I am unsure if this is a permanent exhibition, but it had to do with the brain and the body. It is obviously geared more towards... More

I have been to many " science museums". In Chicago, Miami, etc. This one is different as it is very hands on and has attractions I have never seen like the earthquake room that was actually quite scary and the blind room that was fascinating even for me. We had just moved to Bremen from the states and after the... More

Great science museum. It's not huge but since there are so many things to do that is a good thing. We spent about 3 hours here. The kids loved it!! I have a 5 & a 14 year old and both said this was their favorite place we visited. All the exhibits are hands on and the plaques (which are... More

The Universum is a great place to visit for young and old, from the moment you enter the attraction you have the feeling of discovery. A great place to take the children for discovery and for excitement, outside are hands-on things to do and investigate, inside 'The Whale' science comes alive. A must to visit.
